The concept of a silent disco is that everyone are given a set of wireless headphones and the music is played through them. The headphones have multiple channels so you can change the music you are listening to via a switch on your headphones. The headphones light up to show which channel you are listening to. Having multiple channels allows you to have different genres of music, ensuring more people will enjoy the music.
