Cutting their teeth in the clubs and on the streets of London, dat Brass are a high-octane 11-piece hip-hop outfit blasting blood-curdling originals and flipping samples from the very bottom of the crate. dB rep an unholy amount of brass on the front line, backed up by the tightest DJ, sousaphone and drum rhythm section this side of the millennium. Thanks to their breathless improvisation and onstage presence, Dat Brass have built a big reputation for themselves as one of the loudest get-downs around. In 2019, they released their latest EP, Scratch Dat, an unmissable amalgamation of red hot brass, thumping beats and wicked rhymes, as well as selling out London’s Jazz Cafe and supporting the likes of Roni Size, Plastician, and DJ Yoda.
